Description
Plant Based Diet Support Group
This group is committed to eating a Nutrient Dense Plant Based Diet. This way of eating is:
-Low Fat (10% or less of calories)
-Low Sodium (1,000 miligrams or less per day)
-High in raw fruits and vegetables (50% or more raw daily)
-Very low in animal foods (3 or fewer servings of any animal foods including dairy products weekly)
-Includes water as the main beverage for hydration between meals
This group is not strictly for vegans or vegetarians, though we have vegan and vegetarian members.
