Dear Families and Friends:

School is about to start and Cherokee Spectrum Support Group is announcing the
first meeting of the school year. On Sunday, August 16th at 1:00pm Jean Estes,
a special education attorney, will be speaking to our group. She will be
answering questions from our members on issues such as IEP's, restraint in
schools, etc. We will be meeting at New Victoria Baptist Church, 6659 Bells
Ferry Road, Woodstock.

by August 10th so that we know how large a room to reserve. Also, we would like
people to email us their questions for Jean before the meeting so that we can
forward them to her. We need your questions by August 10th also.

We have a great year of speakers planned and will send out the calendar as soon
as we get final confirmation from our speakers.
