Below is a message from a colleague of mine who does ABA regarding her
attempt to organize all the Insurance bills for 2009 related to
Autism. Hope this is of help to folks.

I wanted to share with the list a page that I've been working on for
some days to collect general info on legislation, but also the autism
insurance mandates, and such as bill in AZ that proposes to change
some of the conditions of last year's law licensing Behavior Analysts.
http://verbalbehavior.pbwiki.com/State+Bills+2009
There are links to Autismvotes, an autism legislation database (thanks
to Kim Dirks!) and a directory of states' legislatures. It links to a
page of an article by Louis Hagopian on evidence for behavioral
treatment (with links to papers available in full text), a page on
Autism Task Force/other committee reports, and background on licensure
of Behavior Analysts. There's more but that's some of the info in brief.
I have some other pages that I am working on that I am planning to
link later, but I thought that I'd share what I have so far.
I don't know if it is of interest or helpful,
but I hope that it may be.
One thing that would be helpful in building and keeping the page up
to date is if list members could share relevant news on legislation on
bills, and such as recognition of the BACB certification and licensing
proposals that they hear of.. I try to keep up with the news, but
there's a lot of developments and I may not have current information.
(Many hands make light work and all...).
Have an excellent day,
