I couldn't agree more.
The thing is, as parents, we only have so much energy. I have learned
the hard way to use all my energy to help the child in front of me.
Nobody else seems to want to help. I used to think that folks would
stand together and unite for a good cause...not so much.
What ever happened to good old boys (and girls) who simply wanted to
help kiddos because it was the right thing to do. Nope, it's all about
the almighty buck now.
Be careful how you expend your energy. I've wasted a lot of mine at my
sweet son's expense. It's just not his fault.
