Tax Deduction for ABA Therapy for Autism?
A large portion MAY BE deductible under medical expense for ABA
therapy. If parents are not able to get reimbursement from other
sources, they may be able to deduct therapy expenses when children
have a diagnosis - often parents are told that they need to have a
Doctor's Order to make any expense a legitimate medical expense.
Tuition may also be deductible to attend special school to overcome
conditions associated with their diagnosis.
Review the provisions in Publication 502:

(health deductions) - tuition may be deductible as a health expense.
