Dear families and friends:
Thursday, November 9th is the next meeting of the Cherokee Spectrum Support Group. The meeting will be held at 6:45p.m. at 335 Parkway 575, Suite 200, Woodstock, GA, near I-575 and Hwy 92.
The topic this month is Person Center Planning. This plan uses an impartial mediator along with all of the significant people in your child's life to create a circle of support for the transitions your child will encounter. This is an important topic not just for parents of older children transitioning into adulthood, but also for parents of younger children transitioning from Babies Can't Wait into the school system and for parents of children transitioning into middle school.
Dottie Adams with the Governors Council on Developmental Disabilities will be our speaker.
