If you or anyone you know has liver disease, join in the fun
with "You & Me" (non profit CIC member) their mission supports and
advocates for hepatitis and liver disease patients.
The Michigan Hepfest Picnic is THIS SATURDAY in the Detroit area
North Western Suburbs on Sat., Sept. 17th at Heritage Park in
Farmington Hills on Farmington Rd. BTW 10-11 Mile Rds beginning at
12:00 noon! There will be hot dogs (both meat & soy), some cold
salads & lemonade & water (& whatever Debby & Pam decide to add this
week! and many of us are bringing a dish or whatever to pass too).
The international hepatitis quilts will be displayed & they just
want everyone who comes to have a good, old-fashioned time. People
are also coming from Windsor! Spread the word. This is the first one
in the Detroit area, so it's time!
LOOK: The international quilts will be at this Picnic Heritage Park
Sat., Sep. 17, at noon & then at the LiverWalk sponsored by ALF at
Lower Huron Metropark on Sun., Sep. 25, at 9 am. Also Pam will bring
the quilts to our Liver Support Group meeting next Mon., Sep. 19, at
7 pm in the Farmington Library on 12 Mile (we meet the 3rd Monday of
every Month).
