The 22nd annual HDSA National Convention and the 40th anniversary of the HDSA is
just 16 short weeks away from this weekend! I heard about the negotiated airline
the other day but haven't been home/on my computer helping with the daily care
for my 2nd Mom and then another relative who went downhill quickly this past 2
weeks and passed away suddenly Thursday. Both cancer related with Hospice, but
still hard.

HOTEL - SMOKERS
The Marriott changed their smoking policies after HDSA had negotiated special
rates at both the Marriott Renaissance and The Courtyard hotels for the
convention in Oklahoma this year. Recognizing that a lot of people in HD
families are smokers, the HDSA is negotiating special rates with a another
[really good] hotel in OKC that allows smoking in their facilities.
