Dear SCAN Member,

Election Day is weeks away and there are many activities planned for the next
few weeks that may effect the future of the funding of stem cell research.
Here's a way for you to be heard, to let people know about the human side of
living with a difficult illness, and why continuing delays in funding affect you
every day.

One of our "sister" organizations, "Americans for Cures" is matching requests
for speakers/supporters across the nation with people in local communities
(patients and families) who are willing to show up, stand up (not literally) and
speak up in support of stem cell research. Please see their request below and
contact them if you are willing to participate. Please let them know that you
are a SCAN member. This is a great way make a difference!
