A local organization that has benfitted the HD community in Indiana has a
very worthwhile project. Please include our website also,
www.hdsaindiana.org. Here is a letter from one of their leaders:

I hope everyone enjoyed the 4th of July holiday! We have all been working
very hard raising awareness and raising money to stop Huntington's Disease
(HD). We are proud to announce "Operation Oprah". We are asking people
across the country to email Oprah on Tuesday, July 11th and Wednesday, July
12th about HD. Over the course of those two days, we would like for you to
email her as many times as possible. When Oprah's staff reads hundreds of
emails about HD maybe she will do a show to raise awareness. She is very
powerful and this could be great for our cause. Tell about your connection
to HD. Your connection may be simply that you are friends with those of us
who are trying to raise money and awareness. Or your connection might be a
personal battle with the disease itself. We would appreciate if you would
include our website http://www.stophd.org/ .

1. Go to www.oprah.com
2. Choose "Be on the Show" in the middle of the screen
3. Choose "Email Us" on the left hand side of the screen
4. Choose "Email Oprah" in the middle of the screen
