Hi Kara,Welcome to the club. I have a brother in Reno,
Neveda. We are from California and live in Missouri
now. My husband has HD, early stage, and his mom and
aunt are in the late stages. We have three at-risk
kids. I understand why you might not want tested. As a
parent of at risk kids I can understand why you worry
about guilt. My husband worries so much about that.
However, I will share with you that finding out about
my husband has given us so much hope and knowledge of
what we are up against. We were clueless as to why
certain things were happening, but now we know and
knowledge is power. However, it is your choice no one
elses. Feel free to vent and cry or smile and laugh
with your new friends-people living in the same boat.
Welcome!!!
Ginnie
