I have won more awards in a short period time than any other site,
41. 8 of them are International Awards. They are the hard ones to
win. I applied to them twice. Changed some things and won. They give
out 5 of each of those awards each year. My site had to get a 100
percent in their criteria. This the kind of things award giver's are
saying about my site. Every Judge loves my mission. They have made
special awards for me. They also love it so much they give me all of
the awards. One person gave me 4. 80 percent of them I win because of
my message. They love it. I love helping people. That is why I chose
to start a positive site. Go out of the way to give every hope for
the first time. I have HD and I am sick. I have won more awards than
a healthy person. I have won all of these in 8 months of my site
going up. I want to inspire other people with HD. Don't ever let it
get in the way of your dreams. We can do anything we want to. HD
should not limit us. I cannot remember my meds anymore. I am losing
my mobility greatly. Having help for my Hubby to get dressed and
bathe and eat. But am still doing this. What keeps me going everyday
is my mission. To give all of you hope every single day. My husband
and I joke that I will be in the hospital and still working on it.
When we are that sick we need something to drive us. Get us to our
dreams. I also am in round 3 in the Talking Hands Award. It is
teaching award. They want a site to teach important things like mine.
There is nothing higher. It has been going since 1986.

Laudation: This site is dedicated to educating people about
Huntington's disease. The web master's mother had this disease which
is hereditary and she tells the story of the familial background,
shares stories, pictures, and the importance of genetic testing, care
giving tips, and much more. I have watched this site evolve and it
has improved with time. I hope to see this web master continue her
work on her site as she grows and learns more.
