Hi everyone!

My name is Jo and I have suffered from OCD since I was 11 - so 15
years now. The past year has been a complete nightmare and finally
feel like I'm starting to get back on my feet. It's nice to know
that there are groups like this - just reading some of the messages
posted is really comforting, because I'm reminded that i'm not alone.

I have morbid obsessive thoughts,Checking compulsions and
contamination fears, and to really top it all off, have been
suffering depression badly for over a year now. Things are getting
easier - I'm lucky because my closest friends have been so
supportive of everything and totally accepting of me. I realise how
difficult it's been for them at times. I'm not in a relationship,
but it really tests my friendships to the limit. Not everyone has
been able to handle everything that's happened to me particularly
well.

What did everyone think about the ITV Drama Dirty Filthy Love that
was on? It's good to know that finally ocd is becoming more
recognised.
