Hi I have OCD since age 14 and I'm now 28. I've experimented with many anti-OCD drugs over the years and here's my current cocktail to fight it.
Take a nutritional supplement of
1 calcium, (calcium carbonate, NO calcium gluconate)
2 magnesium (magnesium hydroxide or magnesium oxide - NO magnesium
aspartate, taurate or gluconate pls)
3 zinc
4 vitamin D
5 vitamin C (time released buffered C)
6 High Concentration Omega 3 fish oil (4000 mg EPA+DHA) - the
weight is NOT the capsules, but the EPA+DHA
All these helps in alleviating the symptoms of OCD too. And they
are all natural.
But remember to take your prozac, augment it with 1.5 mg
clonazepam as well.
And get PLENTY of SLEEP and REST.
OCD needs a 'cocktail' of meds and supplements to fight against it.
Regards.

My namre is Ricard and I am a 23 yo student of Linguistics (final
year, YAY!)living in London. I have panic attacks and agoraphobia
and just last week my psychiatrist said that I have OCD traits,
I basically have been obsessing for about two weeks reading about
going schizo and imagining that I am hearing things, repeating the
same word otr sound in my head over and over again! I now know that
I am not going mad, but I am still frightened... I tend to get
worried about all kinds of illnesses and have had bizarre thoughts
about hurting people I love in the past THOUGH ID NEVER DO IT!!!
Although I am a veteran with Panic and Anxiety (I am actually the
owner of a List!) thois whole OCD thing is quite new to me and well
now that I managed to control my panic and my agoraphobia, this
comes up!
I have been on Citalopram (Celexa, Cipramil) for 12 days (2 days ago
increased my dosage to 40mg) and I am a bit better but still a long
way to go...
Am I going mad? Is there light at the end of this dark tunnel?
Thnakd for listening to me
Ricard
