tonite i went to her wake at toa payoh.
My friend and i went together.
We went to the wrong place and had to take a cab to the right location. So we arrived very late.
It was a place where coffins were placed as well.
Her parents were there, as well as a few friends and relatives, probably.
Her father was visibly upset, while her mother was in a state of shock.
Her mother, Karen, brought me to her resting place. The coffin was not covered up yet. Yun Xin (Jelina) my precious friend, was lying inside the coffin, beautifully dressed up.
Her eyes were closed. Never to open again. This really breaks my heart badly. :"(
Her mother said "GIRL, GIRL! ARTHUR HAS COME TO SEE YOU".
When I heard this, my tears gushed out of my eyes. I was devastated. It was too little. Too late.
SHE WAS ONLY 26 YEARS OLD!!!!
I had to wipe off the tears with my hands and tissue.
I had known this friend through internet a few years back, probably around 2 years ago.
But I had put off meeting her over and over again.
Initially I had wanted to try to treat her to a meal during THIS next week or two.
But I will never have the chance now.
And her mother told me that Yun Xin used to tell her that there's this guy friend called Arthur on the internet who used to encourage her and give her advice etc.
And Yun Xin used to tell me that I'm like a good brother to her. She wanted to see how I LOOKED LIKE.
Yun Xin. I'm very very sorry. I've let you down as a friend. I should have at least asked you out and let you see me. I believe you have seen my photo 2 years ago. But it's just that you have forgotten how I look like.
Yun Xin. Woe to the person who may have upset you intentionally, causing you to make such a drastic decision.
Yun Xin. We will always miss you, forever more.
Really breaks my heart completely...

Lord Lord, you said if i have problems i can come to you. Lord pls have mercy, compassion and pity and love on Yun Xin, and take her to be with you in heaven.
