On the Web Site Today: Team Challenge: Rockin' San Antonio Half Marathon Over 250 people crossed the finish line at the San Antonio Half Marathon on November 16 after raising over $880,000 for mission-critical programs. The group was made up of runners and walkers from 13 cities around the country. Everyone trained over 16 weeks through Team Challenge, the Foundation's half marathon training program. National Youth Leadership Council: Applications Now Avaliable for College Freshman and Sophomores! The National Youth Leadership Council (NYLC) increases awareness of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis through youth-focused advocacy and fundraising. Youth leaders will become advocates for patients through local and national campaigns. The Council works to create new fundraising
opportunities, while supporting and increasing support for existing programs. Council members develop leadership skills and prepare for even larger roles as advocates for people with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Are you ready for some FOOTBALL? Get "In the Zone" for Crohn's! Get in the game and pledge a donation to support pro quarterback David Garrard's fight against Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. As part of the"In the Zone for Crohn's"campaign, Centocor, Inc. will donate $10,000 to CCFA each time Garrard scores a touchdown (pass or run) in the 2008 season.
You can also be part of the team by pledging an amount for every touchdown David scores. At the end of the season, we'll send you a reminder to make your donation with a total gift amount. Once we receive your donation, we'll send you a great "In the Zone" signature
