Just wanted to say THANK YOU to Michele for her recent donation to the
OC CCFA Team for the upcoming Guts & Glory 5K Walk/Run!!! :)
Also, a big thanks to Amy, Casey, Kristen (Emma's mom), and John S. and
his wife for their donations to the team!!!
As you may know, the monies raised at events like Guts & Glory go
towards funding research and education programs for IBD, as well as the
Camp Oasis programs for IBD kids around the country. My son Gregory
got to experience this fantastic summer camp for the first time just
last week. It is a wonderful place where kids can forget about their
disease for a while and just enjoy being a kid.
To date, our team has raised $1,490 for the 5K Walk/Run!!! There are
about 3 weeks left until the big day. If each of us asks just 25
people to donate $10 each, imagine what we could accomplish!
I'd like to encourage anyone who won't be able to join us at the 5K
Walk/Run to donate to the team. Also, don't forget to ask your
employer if they have a matching gifts program. My husband's company
does, and it earned us an extra $370 in donations for this year's walk!
My regards to all!
Jean (Gregory, 12, CD)
Best wishes,
Amy
