The reason i was thinking it wasn't the Prednisone was because I have
been taking it for a month with no relief. And the very day I didnt
take the asocol I felt so much better. I guess I can just take it now
and see how I feel? I just dont want to go back to how I felt a few
days ago. I cannot function. We have 3 small children and it is so
hard to do it all when I feel so bad. What do you think?

I have been taking 3 Asacol 3 times a day for about 3 months as well as the Mesalamine enema at night. And the last 4 days i have stopped. We were out of town...
shannon the prednisone will make you feel good. I would wait until you see your doctor before stopping your medication. that is my humble opinion. michelle...

I agree with Michelle. You won't be on prednisone forever (hopefully) and you need to be sure that you're not going to flare again once you start tapering off...

shannon I did not know that is was your stomach burning. mine did as well. it was the prednisone that did that. my doctor started me on axid. this helped...
