Hi Diana
I do not think 6mp or Colazol will cause pain and
swelling of joints, but I do know that IBD will cause
it and it is a main symptom of disease flaring. Most
of the time a doc will have you stay on 6mp and start
Remicade to avoid an allergic reaction to the drug. It
is very standard to start 6mp and then to start
Remicade, and I believe you can continue the Colozal
with them as well. Of course your doc will know what
is best for you though! I hope you feel better, I
also get the joint problems too when my Crohn's is
flaring.
Love, Casey
