That's really great news! Hope she feels better and can get off the steroids
soon.

Amy is actually going to be able to leave the hospital
today! Her small bowel and upper gi series showed her
blockage had responded to the high doses of iv
steroids; therefore, allowing her to avoid her surgery
for now. They are sending her home on some steroids
and other meds and hopefully she will continue to get
better. Her liver enzymes went down and her blood
looks good again, so she is so happy to be able to get
home and avoid surgery for the meantime! Her
stricture is still bad, but doc said the inflammation
had opened up enough for her to get released. Thanks
