iron rich foods for anemia   Message List

Hi everyone!

Here is a list of some iron rich food ideas which we
were discussing at the last meeting (Some of the foods
I am not familiar with, lol). Hopefully it will be
easy to read since I had to copy and paste it. I did
try eating the Special K once, but I have been in such
a bad flare this last week I haven't tried it again.
It has a great amount of iron in it and eating iron
rich foods with vitamin c, such as drinking orange
juice, helps your body to absorb it better. Crohn's
and UC can give you anemia due to the small or large
amounts of blood you can lose due to the inflammation.

of the Thanksgiving meal is easy on the gut!

Love,

Casey

P.S. Matt, how was your doc appt.??????

Love, and Blessings,
Casey Smith
