hi all!
just to update everyone, i'm STILL in the hospital! it's been over
two months since i first arrived. i had surgery a week ago friday to
have my portacath removed and have surgery tomorrow (monday) to have
a new one put in. and then i will be having one more surgery, but
not until after thanksgiving, so i may be able to go home for a week
or two in between, but that's still up in the air. this has been my
LONGEST stay EVER. and i've been getting quite lonely. it's hard
being in the hospital sooo long. if i don't get to go home in
between the surgeries, then i can see my total stay being somewhere
around 4 months. if my surgery to fix the problems in and around my
stomach isn't until early dec, then i could see being out of here by
new years. it all depends on the date of the surgery and how i do.
my stay last time was 3 weeks, hence why we're thinking at least 3
for a second surgery.
