I know that we were told otherwise at last month's meeting, but a
parent whose child is treated by Dr. Sandborn at Mayo sent me this
info today:

"Sandborn told us he was leaving Mayo for Cedars Sinai in LA when we
saw him in June. Today I called Mayo to ask how do we get in touch
with him in LA, and I was shocked when the secretary told me that he
just announced today that he's staying at Mayo!!! I'm in the academics
business and it's VERY unusual to have made such an announcement (to
Mayo AND to patients) and then make a counter-announcement. Maybe
something fell through for him. But Mayo is a great place to be
(although LA is more fun to visit than Rochester!)"
