Hi Casey,

   My son, Josh, 16 years old, had been seeing a doctor at Children's Hospital LA, but she resigned.  We were in a panic to find a new doctor asap because Josh was suffering from diarrhea and bleeding.  I actually contacted Matt and he gave me a couple of names.  We ended up, making the trip up to Cedars-Sinai to see Dr. Marla Dubinsky.  She was well worth the trip.  She specializes in IBD in Pediatrics and that's all she sees.

   My kids have seen Agran & Mitchell Katz.  I wasn't thrilled with Mitchell Katz.  These guys are so busy.  They can barely give you the time of day.  Dubinsky takes the time to call even before she meets your child.  Your sister has IBD, right? I would think that Dubinsky would see her, even if her baby isn't diagnosed with IBD. 

    I hope this helps a little.  I'm sorry that I'm not more enthusiastic about OC doctors.  I think Matt had a couple of other names of local doctors.  I didn't keep the list after finding Dubinsky.  I googled "Marla Dubinsky" and found a wealth of information on her.  Good luck to your sister!
