To say that I was in an utter state of shock is to put it mild. When I
witnessed a woman unload an overflowing cart full of groceries,
medicines, cleaners, make up, baby items and pet foods and only pay
eleven bucks I thought I was dreaming. Naturally I immediately asked
her how she did this. She told me that she uses the program at
http://americasdiscounter.com She went on to say that she has been a
member for about nine years. The very second I got home I looked it up
and signed on with their Bonus #1. Before I knew it my kit arrived and
I put it right into action. If I thought I was dreaming before, I was
sure that I was now being it was now me getting these savings. For less
than twenty bucks I left the store with a full cart of merchandise and
products. I just want to go shopping everyday! You must take a moment
to check this out for yourself, I am sure there has never been anything
like this before!

I am not sure what else could possibly be said about the company at
http://savemoreamerica.com than has already been said and seen on television
programs. However, since I have been part of this program since 1982 I believe I
can add to the longevity of this company's programs. I must have been one of the
first people to join this company's sampler program and the savings over the
past 24 years have been more than I ever could have prayed for! It has been the
norm to go to the grocery store and get items from milk to medicines for pennies
on the dollar, to eat out for free or next to nothing, to have Kodak film sent
to me at no charge and to have access to tens of thousands of items from
electronics to fine jewelry at below wholesale prices. When I signed up for this
program I had no idea what the future would bring. Then in 1991 my husband was
laid off and thanks to this program we were able to make ends meet until he
found new employment. I can't imagine how many people that witnessed my savings
have joined this program through the years.
Sandy
I bring my kids to this local playgroup to meet with other moms and
kids in the area. Three weeks ago the leader decided that we would
have a contest to see who could make the biggest savings at the
supermarket (percentage savings) The rules were pretty simple you had
to purchase at least $50 worth of groceries prior to the coupon
savings. Whoever had the greatest percentage savings in the three
week period would win a motorized jeep (donated by a local toy store)
for their child(ren). I always thought of myself as a savings guru
and figured I had a great chance at winning this. In fact when I
saved 63% on one of my shopping trips, I was sure that the jeep was
ours! Last Friday we met and turned in our grocery receipts. I
couldn't believe when Lisa turned in her receipts showing a savings
of 82% I had to look at the receipt 5 times. She actually got $143.87
worth of groceries for only $15.89! She also had a pocket full of
other receipts where she saved: 79%, 73%, 68% and 67%. I asked her
the natural question how did you do this? She told me that she signed
on to a program at: http://savemoreamerica.com She had saw a
television show for this and thought it was worth trying out. Well
like the other moms at the playgroup I couldn't wait to sign up!
Is it possible to lose weight by eating more
<http://fast-weightloss.blogspot.com/2006/04/lose-weight-by-eating-more.\
html> ? Sure, if what you're eating more of are high-fiber foods. How
is this possible? Simply put, fiber is a natural calorie absorption
blocker.
A study performed by the USDA found that women who doubled their fiber
intake from 12 to 24 grams per day absorbed 90 fewer calories. This
equals losing 10 lbs. over the course of a year. Fiber keeps you full,
thereby decreasing the total amount of calories consumed per day.
Fiber is extremely important to health and weight loss. So much so, the
U.S. Food & Nutrition Board has set the first recommended daily intakes:
men up to age 50 need 38 grams of fiber per day and women need 25 grams
per day. To reach these recommendations, a minimum of 6 servings of
fruits and veggies and 3 servings of whole grains are needed daily.
So where can you find fiber? Here is a list of foods that will help you
reach the daily fiber intake recommendations:
Onions (1/3 cup = 1 gram)
Broccoli (1/2 cup = 2 grams)
Oranges (1 orange = 3 grams)
Flaxseed (1 tbsp. = 1 gram) ~ sprinkle on cereal or in yogurt
Asian pears (1 pear = 4 grams)
Almond butter (2 tbsp. = 2 grams)
Hot chocolate (1 cup = 3 grams)
Rye bread (1 slice = 2 grams)
Beans (1/2 cup = 6 grams)
Oregano (1 tsp. = 1 gram)
Basil (1 tsp. = 1 gram)
Light popcorn (1 bag = 8 grams)
Chickpeas (1/2 cup = 6 grams)
Frozen chopped spinach (1/2 cup = 2 grams)
Whole wheat pasta (1 cup = 5 grams)

LapBand.
Good Luck

Hi everyone,
I'm Sherri, 41, 5'7 and 258 whopping pounds. I was never over
weight and then about 7 years ago it started. I guess I'm older now
and then I threw what I thought was kerosene, it was not, it was
gasoline, I sprinkled 5 gallons of it on a big huge pile of brush
and then lit it. Needless to say I was thrown 33 feet, 3rd degree
burns upon both legs, it was the most pain I think a body can
indure.
Then, one year ago, a girl hit me broadside in my Jeep Liberty,
causing ruptured disc in my neck so I had it removed and leg bone
put in and brackets to hold that in place and then 5 months later
because I had gained almost 100 pounds in the past 6 or 7 years foot
surgery for heel spur.
All of this just in turn kept me from doing any and all exercise and
now here I am with chronic neck and back pain and huge. I seen my
regular MD 3 days ago and he agreed I should see a lap band
specialist to see about having this surgery. I'm excited but I've
been reading and people say it can be a year from now before they'll
actually even do the surgery, bahhh. I'm also worried my insurance,
Anthem won't cover it but if I can just have it done I'll find some
way to pay for it.
I was just wondering if anyone knows if Anthem would pay for it and
if not the cost of the surgery and although I so scared after
reading the post about the woman who almost died from her spleen am
also scared but I know I can't hardly do anything and I have my
first granddaughter who is 8 months and I won't so bad to be there
for her and I've got a wonderful husband whom I've been married to
for 24 years next week and he deserves a wife who can get around as
well.
I would sure appreciate any info anyone would care to give me.
Thanks in advance,
Sherri
Hi everyone,
I will be having my lap band surgery on May 23rd. I start my pre-
surgery diet on Tuesday. Just curious if anyone could share any
advise for me before and right after surgery. I am very excited about
having this surgery but anxious at the same time.
Thanks!
My heart goes out to you. I am also a nurse and it seems we know more when
something is wrong with our bodies. I had the RNY on 1-25-06 and knock on wood I
am doing great. The weight loss is slow but I have lost 50 pounds and feel like
a new person. God bless you

have written about below.

at your story. How terrible!! Must have been even worse know what

-I do hope you had your symptoms checked out by a doctor. I have just
run across your comment and decided to answer--in case you are still
having the sensations.
It sounds very much like carpel tunnel. I had it in both hands about
24 years ago. It is worse at night and is a triffic pain. If you
haven't get the test--very simple.

Lose fat permanently. It's a fact - 95% of the people who go on
conventional diets gain all the weight back and sometimes they end up
fatter than when they started. Now you can learn how to be in the
successful 5% group that keeps it off forever.
Lose body fat without wrecking your metabolism. If you've ever
started a diet, then smashed into the dreaded "plateau," it's
probably because you cannibalized your own muscle and slowed down
your metabolism. Not only will this system teach you the only way to
prevent your metabolism from crashing, you will also learn more than
a dozen ways to fire up your "metabolic engine" and accelerate your
body's natural rate of calorie-burning.
Lose fat without drugs. When you mention bodybuilders, some people
think of steroids or fat burning drugs. It's sad but true - most pro
bodybuilders take them. But the joke's on them. Drugs work, but the
results are temporary and the side effects are nasty. The tiny
handful of natural bodybuilders who have learned how to use training
and nutrition science to alter body composition without drugs are the
only people in the world who keep their fat loss and muscle gains
permanently. Now you can learn these fat burning secrets from a
natural bodybuilding champion who knows from real-world experience
exactly how it's done.
Lose fat without supplements. 97% of all supplements are a total
waste of money! You are being lied to and ripped off by crooked
companies that don't give a rat's ass about your health and well-
being. If you want to learn the ugly truth about the $13 billion per
year supplement industry, and the $40 billion per year weight loss
industry, then read every word of this report because it could save
you thousands of your hard-earned dollars!

Thank you so much for your email, I do appreciate it.
My starting weight was 330, I am now at 131. I do occasionally go up and
down between 2 or 3 pounds. I really begin to get scared when that happens.
I had a hard time after surgery, lots of complications, and just thinking
about all that puts a lot of fear inside of me.I know I did not go threw all
this just to gain back all my weight.
I just joined a few days ago, and mostly I been reading most of the post on
here, they talk a lot about gaining weight, and you know just reading them
and knowing that Im not the only one struggeling with this weight gain.
Reading the post helps me a great deal because I know now Im not alone, and
that its not just happening to me, that there are others just like myself
going threw the same thing, and trying to work it out. Its really hard.
As far as red meat goes, its not my thing, I just don't like it. I don't
know if I should eat it or not. but I just don't like the taste. I eat chicken
and fish.
Thank you so much for the encouragement. greatly appreciated.

Hi there,
I am SAM, an Iraqi refugee living in Lebanon at the moment; I have spent the
last 10 years of my life as a refugee registered with the UNHCR in Beirut. The
last 4 years, I have spent as an activist for peace and human rights (especially
refugees and asylum seekers) on the Internet; I'm also books author and ebooks
publisher. I have launched many campaigns to improve our situation as refugees
in Lebanon and hopefully bring more understanding to our problems worldwide. I
helped make many changes and improvements at the UNHCR office in Beirut; I used
the Internet as the field for my activities (you can read more about that in my
free ebook 'MY CAMPAIGNS'). All my ebooks are free and could be download from my
sites.
This is my newest campaign, it's about the illegal and humiliating actions of
the UNHCR, who using photos of refugees as banners and human-buttons to collect
money. This is an abuse of the dignity and humanity of the refugees and must
stop immediately and a clear public apology present by The United Nations High

campaign is to support and improve the UNHCR http://www.unhcr.ch especially
after the last scandals in the UN and UNHCR, just for example: The refugees
allege that UNHCR staff is selling most of the food items they are supposed to
be supplied.
"They aren't supplying sufficient food to us because they sell most of the food
items," they allege: http://allafrica.com/stories/200503140214.html

Dear all,
I thank you so much for the messages, it has been such a help to me.
The problem I have right now is that my insurance company have some
criteria I need to fulfil to get funding for a gastric band operation.
They treat acute conditions, but consider obesity a chronic
condition. They will fund me if I have other co-morbidities or other
symptoms but at the moment I donīt.
They have requested a medical report, and this is the bit I am not
understanding very well...
"the reason that we have requested a medical report is because, as you
point out, this does seem to be treatment to cure an acute condition,
however it would be unusual to authorise bariatric surgery, so we need
to refer this to our specialist medical team. We need the information
requested to check whether the treatment can first be considered, to
check whether this meets our definition of an acute condition, whether
the treatment is appropriately recognised as beneficial to your
condition by the relevant medical bodies (I.E. not experimental), and
whether the condition being treated was not present before you joined
us (by onset date we mean the original date that you first noticed
your symptoms, even if this is an approximate date).
We do not pay for any treatment which is specifically to treat obesity
and nothing else - We treat every case individually, and please be
assured that we look very carefully into whether the treatment
required would qualify for benefit, but as this is an unusual case
these are the most specific guidelines I can give - my advice is to
have your doctor include as much information as possible about your
conditions and why this surgery is recommended."
So...I have a doctor who will write a medical report so that I am able
to get surgery, but what on EARTH do I do? Do I have to make up non
existent problems like hypertension or diabetes or goodness knows what
to get treatment for obesity which for me is an illness iīve battled
with since I could walk...
Has anyone else come up against these criteria, or these kinds of
problems, and how did you get round it??? My doctor isnīt the problem,
he will write any thing on the report, itīs just that I have to tell
him what to write so that it shows I fulfil the criteria for my
insurance company...it is a bizarre state of affairs I know...
What next??? Hugely confused, thanks for taking time to read this far....
Kindest regards
Lulu

PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD ENDS 12/23/2005
Medicare wants to exclude the Duodenal Switch from Coverage (and
other procedures below) for all Medicare patients. Medicare wants
to restrict surgery to only persons under the age of 65.
If Medicare excludes this surgery- private insurance companies will
follow their lead. The comment period ends next week.
If you have not done so already, please leave a comment with
Medicare. Please let them know (for example) that DS, BPD/DS
should be covered and what it has done for you (or will do). Be sure
to state the procedure you had or will have done. Please comment
now.
If you oppose to excluding WLS coverage to everyone age 65 and older-
please let them know this also.

Proposed Decision Memo for Bariatric Surgery for the Treatment of
Morbid Obesity (CAG-00250R)
"The evidence is not adequate to conclude that the following
bariatric surgery procedures are reasonable and necessary and they
are therefore non-covered for all Medicare beneficiaries:
open vertical banded gastroplasty,
laparoscopic vertical banded gastroplasty,
open sleeve gastrectomy,
laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy,
open adjustable gastric banding,
open biliopancreatic diversion with or without duodenal switch, and

I am one of those people that trys every single
savings program I come across. I'll be honest when I
say that almost all of them are a waste of money and
time. About ten years ago, I came across a program at
http://www.wrldofproducts.com and decided to try their
coupon program. The real worth of this program is
realized as the years go along. The first few times I
used their program I saved a ton of money but I always
thought that that would be it, that the next time I go
shopping the savings will be small, but for 10 years
the savings have been consistent. Through the years, I
always tried the products that they came out with
(back then they didn't offer a sampler package) It
must be true when they state they put every product
through rigorous testing because everything I ever
tried has worked even better than they stated.
Everyone that has witnessed what I have saved have all
joined up.
Even though I have a very hectic schedule, I felt compelled to take the
time and share this with you since someone else took the time to share
it and I benefitted from their efforts. A woman recently posted a
message stating that she saw a tv show for the company located at
http://savemorethanever.com She praised it very highly and I decided to
join. I signed up for the sampler and it is the best thing I ever
joined! The savings have been huge and the online mall is amazing. Just
yesterday I was able to finish all of my holiday shopping without
leaving my chair. They currently have everything at savings between
50% - 75% off. With the grocery coupon book I picked up a full cart of
groceries for under $10.00. I have never been able to buy so much and
spend so little!
