Happy Valentine's Day from Weight Loss Surgery Singles   Message List

Hello everyone:

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Valentine’s Day week.

My name is Jen and I am delighted to introduce myself as one of the founders
of a wonderful nonprofit organization—Weight Loss Surgery Singles
(http://www.weightlosssurgerysingles.com).

Weight Loss Surgery Singles is a free website dedicated to supporting the
dating and relationship needs of individuals in the weight loss surgery and
healthy lifestyle communities.

Let me tell you a little about how I got involved in this organization…
I am 25 years and I had been overweight all my life. In January 2005, I
underwent weight loss surgery and successfully reduced my weight to a normal
level.

Prior to surgery, I had never dated or had a boyfriend. I thought that once I
got thin, my life would be perfect. It turned out a lot harder than I thought
to meet someone. Having never been in a relationship, I was years behind in
experience.

I was fat all through high school and missed out on a lot of normal teenage
activity and development. I don’t know how to flirt and I have a difficult time
relating to the opposite sex because it is awkward explaining why I have been
single my whole life.

I’ve tried conventional dating sites and have had some uncomfortable incidents
when I had to explain that I was very obese at one point and had to have weight
loss surgery. Men expect a woman of my age to be experienced in dealing with
the opposite sex but I am not. Also, even though I have lost all the weight, my
body is far from perfect and I dread intimacy with another person because I know
I will have to expose my sagging skin and surgery scars.

A few of my friends and I took a bold step…

We decided to find a solution to my own dilemma that seemed to be mirrored
everywhere I looked. Create a place where weight loss surgery and healthy
lifestyle community participants could come together, meet, date, and build
relationships—http://www.weightlosssurgerysingles.com/.

Finding love is difficult enough; however, it is even more challenging for
individuals who have endured obesity, who have undergone weight loss surgery, or
have just experienced general issues with weight.

Weight Loss Surgery Singles will help you find people who won’t judge you, who
will support you, and who understand what you are going through.

Come join our community…http://www.weightlosssurgerysingles.com/, and find
your match today!
