Hi everybody:

My name is Mike, and I’m one of the founders of Weight Loss Surgery Singles
(http://www.weightlosssurgerysingles.com), a free site dedicated to helping
members of the weight loss surgery and healthy lifestyle communities date and
attain successful relationships within their own community.

Weight Loss Surgery Singles will help you find people who won’t judge you, who
will support you, and who understand what you are going through.

Hear my story…

I’m 28 and had surgery in 2003. At my highest weight, I was 400 pounds. I am
now 230 pounds.

After having surgery, I had no problem getting dates. It was great after
years of being obese and feeling undesirable to finally feel attractive.

The only problem was that the women I dated did not understand obesity or
weight loss surgery and how it impacted my life. They were not involved in the
lifestyle, and, as a result, my own commitment began to falter. My girlfriend
and I would go out on dates and she would encourage me to eat whatever I wanted,
allowing me to constantly overindulge.

Soon, I found myself regaining weight. I tried to relay my concerns to my
girlfriend but she brushed them off, never having been obese herself.

I continued to gain weight until our relationship ended. Now, I am looking
for someone who is familiar with the struggles of someone who has been obese and
has had weight loss surgery.

I really need someone who will support me, who understands that having weight
loss surgery is a lifestyle change, and who will not encourage me to slip back
into old damaging habits.

With this need, a few community members and I decided to form…
