We had to claim the trauma part of Stefs life insurance. If you ring your insurance company (or if you used a broker then ring them as they know all the ins and outs) and tell them what has happened and what hubbys long term prognois is then they will send you out the forms that will be need to be filled out and signed by his doctor and parts for you to sign. They will then send it to their medical officer who will confirm the that this servivable it then goes to their claims committee to be accepted. It will take a few weeks for all this to happen.
