Last June I had the operation as your husband. Same size, Right Frontal lobe & GBM 4. It was a terrible shock. I then had Radiotherapy & Chemo every day for six weeks. The only side effects I have had are Hair loss (which has now grown back), Tiredness, but no Nausea or vomiting and weight gain from the steroids.
I am now only on Temedal, on a 5 day cycle, every 28 days, 2mg of Dexamethazone and Epilm to prevent seizures.I am feeling well in myself and my Specialist is pleased with my progress.
I know I can beat this with a positive attitude. For the first time since the diagnosis I am now planning things in my future, such as my sixtieth Birthday in Nov, next Christmas and other dates I want to be here for.
Just a quick word from my wife Heather, Stay strong it will get easier to cope with, but the next three months are going to be hard.
Kind regards
Dennis

Last month my husband had surgery to remove a 5 cm tumour from his front left lobe, which turned out to b a grade 4 GBM. This has been a major shock and change to our family as Stefan is only 38 and we have 3 kids (15, 13, 10). He starts Rad and Chemo next week. Thanks Susan
