Hi to everyone,
Not sure if you have ever read the story of David Bailey, a 12yr survivor of
a GBM - he touches the lives of so many Brain Tumour survivors, and
warriers, with his message, travels and songs and is an inspiration to so
many. He had to have surgery last Thursday, and as we are on his mailing
list via his website, I wrote a message to him - below is his reply which
I thought would be nice to share with others.
He has always said that he would love to come over to NZ and talk at one
of our Brain Tumour events, but of course I cannot ever see that possible,
but great to know that he thinks of us all over here. He travels all over
the USA singing his songs and talking about his 'journey'. He is loved by
many who have met him at these events.
If you have never read his story, then it is www.davidmbailey.com I am
sure that you will find it encouraging reading of his fight against a GBM
and what it has thrown at him along the way..............our thoughts are
with you all especially to the new members who have joined this group, I am
sure that they will find strength from others what have walked, or are
walking this 'journey'. Take care..
Diane NZ /mother of Colette, who has to live alone in the USA because of a
custody order on her daughter.

Into her 11th year as a survivor
Doing great and still teaching the children she so loves..
