Jill Bolte Taylor, Brain Scientist.   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #1510 of 1805 |
Melissa and I have learnt a lot more about the brain since reading and
listening to this lady's experiences. She is a brain scientist who had
a stroke, affecting the left side of her brain. Her special knowledge
and observations of what was happening to her during her stroke, and
recovery (which took eight years!!) and subsequent research make
fascinating reading/listening. Melissa gained a better insight into
her own experiences following discovery of her tumour, and a better
understanding of how/why some things have happened. It might be of
interest to some of you.
