Hi Cathy,
This is the club we never thought we would be joining. Life can be incredibly strange sometimes.We have just had had a mtg with a Cancer Society nurse, who was just amazing! Left us with even more info to read. We now have three weeks until Dennis starts his treatment. Our friends & family are finding it hard to accept because he looks so healthy, and feels really good. So we are making the most of the next few weeks while he has lots of energy.(social calender is really full)

Sorry to hear you are joining our exclusive club. Fortunately you have come to the right site for information and very importantly, much needed emotional support.
 
My husband was a long term (11 1/2 yrs) sufferer of a brain tumour. Although slow growing, we as a group all seem to go through the same difficulties.
 
As with Kath and Linda, who often post to this site. I am in the Auckland City area. If you require any info regarding Specialists etc please do contact me.
 
Thinking of  you all as the Anniversaries roll around. Hard to believe that life goes on without our "loved ones".
