Hi There

Hello everybody, my name is Kristin and I have joined your group as 2
days ago a very close friend of mine was told that he has a very large
tumor in the front left hand side of his brain.

I thought this would be a good place to get first hand advise and
support for for him, myself and his family and friends.

At this stage I have not told him of the group as I do not want to
over whelm him with anything, the last few days have been a blur.

He is going in to have his second MRI tomorrow so we should know a
little more then. He is also going for a biopsy within the next 12
days. He is meeting with another specialist at the end of the week to
plan the next step I suppose.

I do have a couple of questions that someone may be able to help with.

I have been looking up about Gamma Knife treatment. Has anybody here
received this treatment of know much about it. I have read a little
bit about it but if anybody has any opinons they would like to share,
that would be wonderful.

Also with the appointment at the end of the week are there any
questions that you would have liked to ask the specialists but at the
time did not know about it, if that makes sence?

I am so glad there are things like this out there, thank you. : )
