Hi there everyone....
that is great news Linda.
Kath, Dave never had any problems with low counts so can't give too much advice. However, my Brother in Law has Leukaemia. When he was diagnosed his platelette count was only 10. While in hospital they only really worried and gave hom a transfusion of platelettes when the count was 20 or under (from memory)
I have'nt responed till now as I too have been away on the Gold Coast. I took Dan, Zac and their aunty Emma, Daves sister. It was Daniels 10th burthday. We had a blast...I even went on some rollercoasters.
We have had a couple of new members join the group in the last few days. So hopefully they will post some question we all may be able to help them with.
all the best
Pen xx

That is fantastic news Linda! I hope you have a great trip away to the gold coast :)Bruce had his MRI results today which are stable and no change:-)
He has had a few headaches recently and some speech issues, plus a
partial seizure 6 weeks ago.
Oncologist said it could be scar tissue or also stress which we have
both been under alot lately.
Have been building a house/granny flat for my parents on our property,
in between them selling, and the building project going way over budget.
But the end is near on that one, and next week Bruce and I are off to
Gold Coast for a week to see his sister & brother.
A week without the children... how will i survive? :-)
take care all
Linda
