Hi to you all,
I must firstly wish everyone the very best for the year '08. Tony and I sincerely hope that you managed to have some great family times together and that the new year brings for one and all a much easier BT journey, with perhaps some benchmark decisions coming from Pharmac that might help so many in our group. I know that I for one wrote the Board a letter over the New Year, but as yet (of course) have not had a reply!!!!
I wanted to forward a site for you to read, about Mathew Fullerton who is the director of THE HEALING EXCHANGE BRAIN TRUST and his journey with a grade 4 GBM. He was given 3 to 6mths to live in '87 and is now working for others to help them to also become long term survivors. He does such a lot for BT patients/survivors.
I know that I find strength in reading about other survivors, and I hope that his story will also give many of you the same.
Best Wishes to you all.
