Hi all, just thought I would do a quick post before the madness hits
next week. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and safe New
Year. Christmas is no doubt going to be filled with mixed emotions
for all of us, I'm bound to shed a wee tear on the day then follow
that tear with a glass or four of bubbles! We are doing well, the
kids are growing so fast. Fletcher (2½) is going through that I
want to be as big as my brother Jack (8) stage, very cute but very
very very frustrating! Jacks birthday is on Saturday, he's been a
bit teary and mad lately missing his dad....... desperately wants me
to marry my new man, Clint, so he can call someone dad again - talk
about heartbreaking, and trying to explain to him that he'll always
have a dad and Clint will always be called Clint not dad..... god
where do you start! Poor little bugga was saying "but can't I have
two dads". Some things just have to be filed in the too hard basket
after explaining it several times. So yep new relationship going
great guns, spending Christmas breakfast with his folks which will
be a whole new ball game - am used to my comfort zone, man I hope
the kids behave themselves........ knowing my luck Fletch will learn
his first swear word that morning and use it! The rest of my family
are great, although my sisters husband is having issues with me
seeing someone but a bit more time should be all he needs. He
thinks I've forgotton Aaron........... as if that would ever
happen! Just because we can find a little bit of happiness again
does mean we forget the ones we still love. Bit like ya damed if ya
do damed if ya don't situation.
Well I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine and enjoying your
families. I will be thinking of everyone in this group over the
next couple of weeks. Stay strong, but remember to let it out
(talking, screaming, crying, laughing, stomping) to listening ears
xx Take care, lots of love NINA
