Great to hear from you Liz,
but can you stop bragging about your weather please :-)
Just remind me again, was Mark diagnosed with GD 3 AA back in 94, I
thought it was a Gde 2. He only had the one surgery hasn't he?
Glad the seizures are under control, but you know we here can relate
to the giving up work decision.
Bruce has now been off work 6mths & Neuropsych testing showed that
he cannot carry out the same job that he is qualified, trained & had
experience in.
We are fighting one of our Ins co.s for a payout on a Disability
Policy, but they declined it saying there was no evidence that Bruce
wouldn't ever work. Luckily I have the original policy docs from 15
yrs ago and there is nothing in the wording to say if you can still
dig ditches or sweep streets then you can't claim.
So they have asked me to send them a copy of our policy... go figure!
Yes staying with family & vice versa can be very stressful. Is it
any wonder that we are booking accomodation when we go to Gold Coast
to visit Bruces family. HAHA
have a great time at your festival
take care & regards to you both from Bruce

His latest scan, Dec18th, showed no change. The "area of concern" is
still there but stable. He's back running after having some recent
trouble with his anti-epilepsy drugs. And he is seriously
considering quitting work - going thru his GP and a counsellor, as
some days his 4-5 hours of concentration are too stressful for him.

is stressful too...and when Mark was recovering from surgery 18
months ago, and they were staying, we had a pretty bad time. So far
this time, all is well. And we have had quite a few days of decent
summer here - Mark is out in the kayak or on the boogie board when
he gets the chance.

next week. Our teenage girls love it. We adults enjoy the big cafes
and the chance to catch up with many of our friends from other towns
that usually also go. Its tiring camping for 4 nights though, and
its a long drive there and back, but we have a few days off work
either side of the long weekend, and we will have time afterwards to
recuperate!
