This is a support group for families living with type 1 diabetes. We are local to the Northern Virginia / DC / Maryland area. This group is mainly an email discussion group with over 140 families currently. We do also have meetings or outings fairly frequently, but not on a regularly scheduled basis. Meetings might be a gathering for 1-20 families in someone's home, a bowling outing, or a trip to a local pool. It depends on what members want to set up. All families in the area living with type 1 diabetes are welcome to join the group. Please include your name and phone number when requesting membership. Email the moderator with any questions.
