I was told by the nurses tonight, that I bring a "negative attitude"
to work and I'm supposed to come to work with a smile on my face.
Yeah, right, it's hard to come to work happy when you have people
that call off all the time (this one girl has called in 12 times
this month) and still has a job!!!! 4 of those times was just this
week. When she is there she doesn't do much. I always get stuck
working with the ones that aren't the team players and have to do 26
residents by myself and get 6 of them dressed and out of bed in 1
hour, then go down and help the person that isn't a team player
because she can't do it herself, but in return does not come and
help me.
State is in our facility right now and I hope they are smart enough
to find the things wrong with the facility and give them the
deficienies they deserve.
It seems like Missouri doesn't have too many "rules" like other
states. These residents don't even have name bands so you know who
they are. And this is the first place I've worked where you don't
have to be drug tested when you are hired, needless to say, if they
did do drug testing half of the facility would be out of a job!!!
Thanks for listening,
Lisa
