Hi everybody.I've been a cna for 4 years now,and I work in a
nursing home.Like other LTC facilities,we need good cna---no, it is
more serious than that.America needs good cna's desporately. This is a
crisis situation, and it must be faced.Working short staffed
continuously is a major source of burn out.I dont pretend to know the
answeres, and I do not believe there is one single answere;not
government, buisiness, or any other one, two, three, or four things that
could solve this problem.I do believe that our culture must change,we
have to prioritize. It took decades to get into the shape we are in,and
it will take a long time to get out of this mess. The people who care
enough to read this board must be a very large part of any
solutions. Is anyone familiar with the green house project?Check it out
at thegreenhouseproject.com, I think it looks promising .Let me know
what you think!
