-Hello everyone,
We do not have CNAII's here in Virginia however it is my
understanding that it is under consideration for the near future.
Probably a program similar to that in NC. I do work in a hospital
currently in Central Sterile Supply (where they clean all the
surgical instruments among other things). I just transfered there
from the floor and basically you do the same things on the floor you
would anywhere else you just have different patients every couple of
days. There are plans however to have the PCA's (as we are called) do
fingersticks, and take out catheters and IV's. Just thought I would
put my two cents in. Thanks, Cheryl -- In

there is other states that has level II's or not. I have noticed that
there is not any in s.c but was wondering about other states and if
there is any more level II's here, was wondering what all kinds of
stuff you do.I work in home health care , going from home to home all
day long. I spend no more that one hr in a clients home. Level II
required going back to college for I think it was something like 6-9
months after completeing the level I.I have been level II for so many
yrs, I dont remember really how long it took.
