Hello Group,
Happy Holidays! How was Thanksgiving for you all?
Mine was great all except maybe a few things but mostly it went
wonderfully.
We received our NAGNA and well I put it this way ..I thought it was
the greatest thing in the world..to be frank..it really isnt all
that it is cracked up to be! You have to pay for every little bit
of coverage they offer..it can be very expensive if you add it up.
Then if you add people to ur coverage your talking about alot of
$$$$$$$$$!!!!
Anyway I think we are going to write up a letter signed by all and
call them and tell them how we think and the guy who had the meeting
with us all that day about nagna he said everything will be
available to us under that amount of $ we get deducted from our
checks every two weeks and to our understanding it was to cover
everything.
BUT we were WRONG! No excuse me, HE WAS WRONG for lying to us!
Anyway the free things they send you when u join up will end up
costing us out the a$$!
Anyway..make sure if you get to experiance the NAGNA you ask alot of
questions before applying to this service.
Anyway..
TO SUM IT UP WE ARE VERY DISAPPOINTED!
This CNA who had it in Missouri said that it covered all but it dont
with us for some reason!
Anyway next subject.
We have this resident where I work she screams..talks loudly all
night long and what I hear all day too! Hardly ever sleeps..so they
prescribed her Ambien well that works 2 or 3 hours at the most. We
try to talk to her and calm her and tell her to be more quieter but
that doesnt help.. we have tried to put her in front of the big
screen and that doesnt help. She is in a Geri Chair cuz she falls
alot. So what I am asking is HELP!!!!!!!!SHE IS REALLY DRIVING US
NUTZ!!!!!!! I mean I can handle her for a lengthy time...but it is
disrupting other residents from her hollaring and it is really
breaking our thinking at night when we are doing paper work..you
know we all one resident that really bugs ya...but we love em
anyway..but this woman is totally out of control..we have wrote
behavior sheets after behavior sheets on her and nothing is helping!
I have even given her a magazine to look at that doesnt help. Any
suggestions on how to occupy her mind?
Another thing,,,Welcome Newbies and good luck on your CNA life.
May your life be filled with alot of teaching from the elderly and
love.
Well Merry Christmas everyone!
