CVP Monitoring   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #5026 of 5115 |
Hi there,

When usinga triple lumen Central Venous Catheter in a critically ill client which lumen would you monitor the CVP from. Commensence tells me it should be measure proximally as it will therefor not be affected by fluid running through other lumens (medial & distal). This contradicts my current hospitals policy - can anyone shed some evidenced based info re this.

Cheers
