Re: flushing of inline ETT catheter

Read a nursing Medical Surgical book on the subject and it will give you the nursing diagnosis.  In addition, there are only so many nursing diagnosis and it help you to study those and their defenitions.  You can also use ASK.com to help you on your studies.

Saline is isotonic and should not effect the tissue, sterile water is hypotonic and if absorbed into the tissue would cause edema, IE when you sit in the tub...
