Re: Questions

Just know that we are all nervous the first time. I am a "seasoned" nurse with
23 years in oncology with a touch of tele experience. I am just getting ready
to go to my first night in the CCU unit. It is a very big change for me. I am
very nervous but will make it through.
Best of luck in your chosen field.

OK just pass my boards few weeks ago and taking the plunge straight into ICU
can anyone be so kind and give me a heads up what to expect I am very nervous
but at the same excited. Is it a good idea as a new grad nurse to start out
in ICU? I worked as an LPN for about 31/2 years on geriatric rehab center
(nursing home) no comparison to ICU but already got my foot wet. Please any
advice
for new grad. RN nurse.
Thanks guys.

Methehmoglobin - this occurs when the deoxygenated heme is oxidized to a ferric state, so the heme can't combine with O2. This is why you see cyanosis without...
