We change the tubing every 72 hrs

Just wondering how often you all change pressure tubing. Our hospital
mandates tubing change every 48 hours. The last hospital I worked at
required us to change the tubing every 96 hours, so there seems to be little
consistency here. Is there a standard, and is it based on infection control
guidelines? I would appreciate any input any of you might have. Thanks.
