If you are at a a teaching hospital, there should be a CRNA or two rotating
through - talk to them. If not, seek them out in your hospital and find out if
you could follow them through a shift or two to see how it is. There is
currently a CRNA "resident" rotating through our MICU. He loves his job - works
in the cardio service. Says the schooling is hell though. But lets face it, the
pay works out around 125,000/yr....hmm? Good luck.
