That's interesting to hear. I think it is all fear of the unknown and being
out of our home element. It all depends on the type of ER too. I work in a
level III trauma center (the end of the spectrum) and we are more cardiac
focused. You don't know what you are going to get and that's what makes it a
challenge cuz you always have to be on your toes. I followed a CRNA today and
did the actual intubations so I can do ambulance transfers. It was so fun
that now, I am started to look that route, but Lacrosse (WI) is a long way
from Green Bay, while I don't have kids, my husband isn't moving out of GB.
