i am a new grad in the ICU and the ER scares me!--at least in the ICU you
know who you are getting and you have some time figure out what you are
going to do

I have also thought the same. While some of them are silly, I have been
held back by:
-whether I would get bored
-if surgery is too cold for me (yes, I am freezing all the time)
-2 years of school without work
-school location
-competiveness to enroll
-if I could make it through school
-requires ICU experience (I'm ER and actually a little scared of ICU - ya
really)
