Was wondering what you guys use to alert your caregivers (not including baby style monitors)?  I'm looking for a door bell type device that could be easily operated.  Any feedback would be awesome...Mark

I use one from Radio Shack. It runs on batteries and the button can be mounted or held/pinned to the bed. < http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3198210>.

Very easy! Also, the batteries last a long long time. But just to be sure they're working, I test them often.

My Dad took a phone with a button you push that causes a two minute beeping
cycle to help you find a phone off the holder and modified it. He attached a
wire and button to the alarm wiring. When I push the button the alarm goes off.
Works really well. One little push is good for two minutes of being. And you
can put the phone in your pocket and walk around.
